We will be camping at Trailhead which is the onsite campground at AOAA. It’s important to book your campsite early as they book fast. You can pre-register for AOAA which makes check-in a lot quicker and easier.
To book your campsite visit the Trailhead website. To buy your pass to AOAA and sign the necessary waiver visit the AOAA website.
Some will choose to arrive to the campsite on Thursday night as AOAA opens at 9:00 am on Friday morning. Some might venture to AOAA Friday morning and meet up with everyone that morning. Some will choose to depart after wheeling on Saturday night, while others will choose to hang out Saturday at camp and break on Sunday morning. It’s a choose-your-own adventure, but you are bound to have a good time.
ANARC Diamond Jubilee
In 1998, Land Rover enthusiasts worldwide celebrated the marque’s 50th Anniversary. In North America, the Ottawa Valley Land Rover Club (OVLR) and the Rover Owners of Virginia (ROAV) formed a new group, ANARC (Association of American Rover Clubs) to celebrate Land Rover’s 50th Anniversary.
Many smaller clubs joined ANARC and the combined efforts brought nearly 400 Land Rovers and their enthusiast families to the Greek Peak Ski Area in Cortland, NY, for a spectacular weekend event.
Land Rover turns 75 years old in 2023, and once again, ANARC invites enthusiasts across the continent to return to the completely-renovated Greek Peak Mountain Resort for the Diamond Jubilee, June 14-18, 2023.
Celebrate Land Rover’s 75th Anniversary with off-roading, vendor exhibitions, special guests, Land Rover showcase and the ANARC Cup RTV competition. Activities that promise to be exciting for the entire family including the Friday Celebration Dinner on the outdoor Overlook.
Register here if you’re a NELRC member.
Winter Romp '22
Winter Romp
Feb 17 – Feb 20, 2023
If you have a non Land Rover vehicle and would like to attend 2023 Winter Romp:
Participants with non Land Rover vehicles who would like to attend Winter Romp must have participated and been to Winter Romp in previous years. You must be sponsored by a returning attendee that will have an operational, pre-registered Land Rover in attendance.
Winter Romp
Winter Romp is the anti-club and sponsorship event. We aren’t in any way associated with hosting the event, we just encourage friends of NELRC to attend.
“The Maine Winter Romp is an informal annual gathering of Land Rover owners and enthusiasts hosted by Bruce Fowler. Set in and around Benton, Maine over Presidents' Weekend, Maine Winter Romp provides a non-competitive opportunity to test your Rover and driving skills in conditions that can be extreme.”
For more information and to fill out the waiver visit http://www.winterromp.me
